I hope you enjoy them. The last picture brought tears to my eyes. It
was a puppy that looks like BJ did when he was little. I think you'll
know which one when you see it. And I'm still working on it, but I've
got a video of a squirrel dragging off an immature canteloupe out of my
garden. I took the video on a razor phone and haven't found the software
to transfer it to computer yet, but I'm hoping to put it on youtube
once it's converted. I should have known that a squirrel will try
anything after they ate all my strawberries last year...

Yup, they love berries all right, and cantaloupe too, I discovered
last growing season! |

I wonder if traditionalist Christians realize that is what they are
advocating? They acclaim as the highest good a condition in which
mankind lives in ignorance of his true nature, a complete slave to
the whims of an irrational deity. They deplore as sinful the
precious gift of knowledge. They want to throw out independent
thought and action, and have mankind return to a childish existence
in the Garden where everything is handed to us, and where we never
need to think for ourselves because we are told what to do and what
not to do.

Greater than the gift of immortality? Would it not be better for Adan
and Eve to have had more knowledge of the consequences of free will
before they obtained the knowledge of how to push that free will to
extremes?
The alternative would be for mankind to remain naked and ignorant. Is that
what you would prefer?
Initially, perhaps. I don't expect that the ignorance would last long,
as there is far more to life than what they gained from the forbidden
fruit.
|
No, no, no, my friend, you can't have it both ways. When you reject
knowledge, you embrace ignorance. The "forbidden fruit" was only
forbidden because the irrational, jealous, selfish god who rules
Eden didn't want mankind to know anything. The Serpent offered us a
"get out of jail" card and we took it. The card wasn't free, though.
It came with a price. But who is so foolish as to wish to give up
freedom and knowledge, merely to avoid that price? Are you?

No your teaching is heretical as well as heresies. Just because you
say people are heretical does not make it so, then they say the same
about you.
The way I understand it, Oneness Pentecostalism teaches another Christ
- therefore Oneness teachings against God being a Triune God are
heretical.
|
I know and work with many Oneness Pentecostals and non-Pentecostal
folks, and there is no "Another Christ” The Oneness do not deny that
God is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit/Ghost, which is the same
confession that many trinity churches say they believe.
The UPCI have a Dr. that wrote some books and is well know by them as
a spokesmen and even he wrote, that he has no problem with the
doctrine as seen in the historical "Apostles creed" which all the
Churches that claim to believe in the Triune God say they also
accept.
When people hold what they see as the truth, and the history of such a
doctrine dates back to around 325 AD, they do not want to accept that
like the Oneness folks point out their doctrine about God being ONE
GOD dates all the way back to the commandments and Moses and all the
Old Testament.
It is so easy to say the other guy is teaching "another Christ”. Now
I could understand another trinity or another triune being. Then all
Christians Trinity, Oneness etc. have no argument that Jesus is the
Son of God and Son of Man. The Oneness say Jesus is God and the
trinity say Jesus is God, and say so in "God the Son" as they like to
point out. Christ is not the problem it is man, and ego, etc. To a
lot of Theologians it is symmetric.
