went separate ways to gather fruits.

Mbeki came back and said to the king, "I brought ten apples". The king
then explained the trial to him. "You have to shove the fruits up your

The first apple went in.... but on the second one he winced out in pain,

When the king explained the trial to him, he thought to himself that
this should be easy. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8., and on the ninth
berry he burst out in laughter and was killed.

Mbeki & Tsvangirai met in heaven and Mbeki asked Tsvangirai, "Why did
you laugh, you almost got away with it?" Tsvangirai replied, "I couldn't
help it, I saw Mugabe coming with pineapples".

Are you saying that you are not one who rejects the Trinity and would
identitfy with being Oneness?

Quote:
The Oneness do not deny that
God is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit/Ghost, which is the same
confession that many trinity churches say they believe.

The UPCI have a Dr. that wrote some books and is well know by them as
a spokesmen and even he wrote, that he has no problem with the
doctrine as seen in the historical "Apostles creed" which all the
Churches that claim to believe in the Triune God say they also
accept.

When people hold what they see as the truth, and the history of such a
doctrine dates back to around 325 AD, they do not want to accept that
like the Oneness folks point out their doctrine about God being ONE
GOD dates all the way back to the commandments and Moses and all the
Old Testament.

It is so easy to say the other guy is teaching "another Christ”.  Now
I could understand another trinity or another triune being. Then all
Christians Trinity, Oneness etc. have no argument that Jesus is the
Son of God and Son of Man.  The Oneness say Jesus is God and the
trinity say Jesus is God, and say so in "God the Son" as they like to
point out.  Christ is not the problem it is man, and ego, etc.  To a
lot of Theologians it is symmetric.

Except that when the Oneness folks say "Jesus is God" it's not with
the same intention as when the Trinitarians say "Jesus is God". When
you baptize, do you do it (a) in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy
Ghost or (b) in the name of Jesus or (c) in the name of the Father,
Son, and Holy Ghost and then again in Jesus name?

Lobster (and other shellfish and crustaceans) are forbidden because
they are ocean scavengers - just as land creatures that are scavengers
are forbidden.  There are plenty of other food sources for Omega-3's.

 Similarly,
not eating (properly cooked) pork makes no sense from a nutritional
standpoint since it is a rich source of Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin,
Pantothenate, Vitamin B6, Phosphorus, Magnisium, Zinc and Iron.

The liver is made to be a filtering system for the body; filtering out
toxins that otherwise would flood the body via the bloodstream.  Pig
livers don't properly filter out toxins and are known to eat pretty
much anything food-wise (aside from foreign material).  As is anything
that when alive would be considered a scavenger animal, pork is not as
healthy for you as beef or poultry - no matter how well you cook it -
because of the toxins present from lack of adequate filtering.  Many
have long held the misconception that trichinosis was the only reason
why pork was a no-no for observant Jews.  Not.  Like the lobster
comment above, there are plenty of other natural food sources
available for the benefits you mentioned above.

Pork and lobster are just simply not "necessary".

They are still good foods and are allowed to be eaten by faithful
Christians.

good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of
the good doctrine which thou hast followed:" 1 Tim 4:3-6 (ASV)

In the following article, Mike Barden explains about the cult known as
"Oneness Pentecostalism."

In the beginning of the Church the Jews called it a cult also, as did
many other people at that time, so I suppose to be called such is a
honor as it only shows that what Jesus did teach the Oneness also
teach and are called false names as they did to Jesus Himself.

The Gospel According To Oneness Pentecostalism
by Mike Barden

Why would anyone accept such a gospel from a person that does not
understand the doctrine and points out he is not a Pentecostal, be
like asking the POPE to give the Gospel according to the protestants.
May be a Mormon teaching on the gospel of what the origin of God and
what planet He came from, and that they were spirits before they were
even born of a woman.

Then a Hindu telling us what we believe and what the Church believes
about God and that thousands of gods is what we should know as the
Gospel according to them.
Mike Barden may be a nice guy but does not speak for what the Oneness
Pentecostal or the Oneness Jew, or for any other group them the one he
belongs to.

Quote:

Preface

I need to say right up front that I am not saying that all Pentecostalism is
cultic. However, I am convinced that this particular strain of
Pentecostalism is a cult. I realize that this is a serious accusation, but
it is one I plan to support throughout the remainder of this article.

Who cares what he is convinced about? I can say I am convinced he is
false and his words are all lies. Does such a statement make it so?
What degree in Theology does he have, and what denomination does he
belong to. I sure the Pope in Rome and a whole lot of Roman
Catholics are convinced that all Protestants are wrong and could be
called a cult also. He may plan to support a lot of stuff, but
unless he quotes from Oneness Pentecostal doctrine that is accepted by
their church and people, all he has to say is what he wants to point
to and cut out the rest that may just prove he was wrong in his
assumptions to start with.

Quote:

By way of introduction, the term "Oneness" refers to this movement's view of
the Godhead. They believe that the Trinitarian view of the Godhead is pure
tritheism, so instead they conclude and teach that Jesus Christ is Himself
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Not that is not correct, the oneness believe Jesus is the Son of God
and that Jesus is God, as God came in the form of a man, the flesh as
the Bible does say. 1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the
mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory. NKJV

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit the fulness of the Godhead dwells in
Christ Jesus so when one looks at Jesus they see God the Father, Son
and Holy Spirit.
Col 1:19-20 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness
should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by
Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace
through the blood of His cross.

Col 2:8-10
8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit,
according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles
of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the
fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is
the head of all principality and power.
NKJV

That was a question asked Jesus by his followers show us the Father,
and Jesus pointed out how long have I been with you, you see Jesus you
see the Father. So this person gives half or less truth in his
statements at the same time denying that the Oneness is just following
Jesus and His teachings. Then some Trinitarian teaching are just
that tritheism. Dr. Dake's bible that can be purchased at many book
stores prove that is so. He points out that the Trinity is three
persons, each differant and each with a body, soul and a spirit, three
bodies, souls and spirits to make up the Trinity. The Church of God
of American one of its missionries I know made it clear, the Father
was one God the Son was one God and the Holy Spirit was one God in a
unity like a group in a business, not the same person or persons, but
just three in agreement each haveing voting rights. If that is not
Tritheism what is? (Christianity) the heretical belief that the
Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are three separate gods.
John 14:7-11
7 "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from
now on you know Him and have seen Him."
8 Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient
for us."
9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have
not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how
can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10 Do you not believe that I am in
the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do
not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does
the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in
Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
NKJV

The above is what the Oneness people believe as it is what the Bible
does say, it may not fit what the trinity teaches, but it does fit the
Holy Bible and that is the book we should use to make our doctrine
according to what God wants. Not a teaching that is not found in the
Old Testament or the New Testament, God is always ONE GOD never a
trinity of persons or gods or people or whatever. It is like a
Catholic that I wanted to bring to Christ so he could be saved, and
his remarks were so sorry this was the church my family for hundreds
of years have followed and he would also, it did not make any
different what the Bible has to say the Priest protected him and it
was what the HOLY Church since Peter followed. Just like this post
the gospel according to the poster or the writer here, it really does
not matter what he or his church has to say, it is what the Bible has
to say that is the true Gospel or Good News.
