An Open request to barak Obama & John McCain:
A lot of national attention has been paid to Joe the Plumber, & his
problems.
I would like to draw your attention to Jocelyne Voltaire & her problems:
Jocelyne was the victim of a predatory lender, Litton Mortgage, a subsidiary
of Goldman Sachs.
Her home was in foreclosure & up for auction. A couple of weeks later she
was informed that her son
a former Marine & an Iraq war veteran had committed suicide in Australia, &
she had to pay $25,000 to ship his body home.
Her plight came to the attention of Code Pink, who managed to raise $10,000
& managed to stop the auction.
This incident is further proof of just how screwed up our media is. The
imaginary problems of Joe the plumber get national attention, while the very
real problems of an average American woman are completely ignored! |

Joe the Plumber just got locked up for back taxes. last I heard he owed
$800. I wonder if this figure is correct? If that is the way things go..
We have about 26 million folks that are in arears in Federal taxes.
I think that this is a Democratics motivated arrest if this is so.

I think he owed $1400 in back taxes. Don't know anything about him being
locked up. I don't think you can blame the Dems for the IRS!

He was arrested for back taxes. Normally the IRS seizes everything you
own and then returns what is left after they extract their pound of
flesh. They don't arrest you. Many years ago George McGovern sicked the
IRS on me, as chairman of a political committee that targeted him.
Claimed that a tax form on our funding had been criminally excluded.
It was in the IRS files, But they harassed us, until we shoved a Lawyer
up both their asses and that of George McGovern. Someone needed to shut
Joe the Plumber up and probably charged him with Criminal Tax evasion.
You are aware the about 30% of truck drivers that own their own lease
rigs are usually a year or two behind on taxes. I find it interesting
that there is a family emergency in Mr Obama's family at such a time as
to possibly garner the greatest sympathy vote. The Democrats have pulled
all the stops to avenge the last election of GW Bush. I think they have
gotten away with it too. The $800 figure I stated was probably correct
as his $600 stimulus check would have been withheld from the original
$1400. No one that owed taxes, child support, student loans etc got
those checks. They were applied to Government debt.

ignoring the thousands of JV episodes?
Don't you think her story is more important than Joe's?

among us. Tell her to get a good press agent.
