Are you afraid of Jesus?
As the world situation is now, we can understand that soon a terrible
catastrophe comes to strike the whole earth, as the Bible says. If you
do not believe in Jesus or do not receive the salvation he offers, who
will else help you? Do you have anything to set instead of the Bible?
Do you have anyone who can help you?
Our only possibility of escaping this catastrophe, which comes, is to
receive the salvation that Jesus offers us. Then it is remarkable that
people must be pressed to receive this salvation. It ought to be
entirely in their own interest to survive, so that they ought to study
the Bible to see how they can receive this salvation. Yet, they will
not even believe that it is true.
They can read in the newspapers about war and military armaments
and see TV-programme about that. Yet, when Jesus offers the only
help that is available, then they are afraid and will preferably not
believe that he exists. They are more afraid of the help than of
the real danger. This shows how the sin and the devil have darkened
and distorted their intellect. They do not understand their own well.
Eph. 4:18. Jesus is the only one who has eternal life to give.
Therefore, it is highly dangerous to run away when he calls.
1 John 5:10-13.
The kings of the earth, and the princes, the generals, the rich, the
mighty and other ungodly people, become so frightened when
Jesus comes, so that they call to the mountains and the rocks,
"Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the
throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb." Rev. 6:15-17.
So afraid are they of Jesus! Luke 23:30. Isaiah 2:17-30. Yet,
they must see him.
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a
name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth,
and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Phil. 2:9-11. Isaiah 45:23-25.

Yourself, other humans like you

I do not see or hear anyone called Jesus offering me anything, all I see and
hear are humans like yourself

Quote so, the bible so full of absurdities and contradictions

Jesus did not help the poor unfortunates, tens of thousands, burned at the
stake during The Inquisition. Neither did he help the two thousand innocent
children swept out to sea to drown in the tsunami a couple of years back, or
the six thousand relatives left to grieve for the rest of their lives.
