Before God's Judgement, a last Trial comes

Before the Lord led Israel's people out of Egypt, he sent many plagues
over Egypt. Frogs, lice and flies, rinderpest, locusts, darkness, and all
the firstborns died. Exodus Chapter 8 - 11. In the book of Revelation
can we read that before the Lord redeems his people from this the
world, the whole world comes to hit by many severe plagues.

Nevertheless, God's Spirit comes also to work to people's salvation.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon
all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old
men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also
upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour
out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth,
blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into
darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day
of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall
call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion
and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in
the remnant whom the LORD shall call. Joel 2:28-32.

This became fulfilment partly on the Pentecost day when the first
disciples of Jesus became baptized in the Holy Spirit. Peter quotations
from this prophecy in Acts. 2:17-21.

In Joel 2:31 we read, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the
moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes.
" But Peter says, "... before the coming of the great and glorious day
of the Lord." The day of the Lord becomes both terrible and glorious.

For the ungodly and faithless the day of the Lord becomes very
terrible, but for God's people the day of the Lord becomes very
glorious. At this juncture all those who have believed in God and
received the salvation in Jesus Christ, have risen from the dead and
got heavenly, immortal bodies. Jesus delivers us from the coming
wrath. 1 Thess. 1:10.

"And they shall be Mine, says Jehovah of Hosts, for the day that I will
make up My treasure. And I will pity them as a man has pity on his
son who serves him. Then you shall again see the difference between
the righteous one and the wicked one, between him who serves God
and him who does not serve Him." Malachi 3:16-18.

When Jesus has taken the Assembly of God to heaven, then follows
God's final judgement at once over the ungodly world. "For, behold,
the day is coming, burning like a fire pot; and all the arrogant and
every doer of wickedness will be chaff. And the coming day will set
them ablaze, says Jehovah of Hosts, which will not leave root or
branches to them." Malachi 4:1.

When the Assembly of God has risen from the death, then it comes to
take active part in God's punishment of the ungodly. "But to you who
fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall rise up, and healing will
be in His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of a stall.
And you shall tread under the wicked ones, for they shall be ashes
under the soles of your feet in the day which I am preparing, says
Jehovah of Hosts." Malachi 4:2-3.

As it was in the days of Noah, so also it will be in the days of the Son
of Man. When Noah went into the ark, the flood came and destroyed
all. Likewise, as it was in the days of Lot. The day Lot went out of
Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from the heaven and destroyed
all. According to those things, it will be in the day the Son of Man is
revealed. Luke 17:26-30.

Since it is a just thing with God to repay affliction to the ones
afflicting you, and to give you, the ones being afflicted, rest with us
at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His
power, in flaming fire giving full vengeance to the ones not knowing
God, and to the ones not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the
Lord, "and from the glory of His strength." 2 Thess. 1:6-9.

The Assembly of God is the highest authority on the earth. The
Assembly shall be with the Lord when he judges the entire world.
"Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the
world is judged by you, are you unworthy of small judgments? Do
you not know that we shall judge angels, not to speak of this life?"
1 Cor. 6:2-3.
