The guys over at rec.guns seem quite sane compared to this.

For a second I was afraid that you meant me, but I checked
and saw I was over your quota.

If you don't like bickering and arguing, then why ever did
you start a thead devoted to the topic and begin it with a
post where you do just so? So far 100% of your posts have said
nothing about gnosticism.

"I am the silence of hidden mysteries and I am the knowledge of those who
know" (Bhagavad Gita 10:38)
"Thou art the one to be known and the Knower"
(BG 11:38)
"Know that with one single fraction of my Being I pervade and support the
Universe, and know that I AM" (BG 10:42)
(compare to Jesus' "before Abrahram was, I AM")
"I am the beginning, middle, and end of all that lives" (BG 10:20)
(compare to Jesus', "I am the alpha and omega, the first and the last, the
beginning, and the end")
"I am the same to all beings* and my love is ever the same; but those who
worship me with devotion, they are in me and I am in them"
*explains the cross-cultural similarities between Gnosticism and Hinduism,
and the amazing similarity of language used to describe God, since the
reality in question is beyond time and change and culture
(
compare also to Jesus', "As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they
also be in us" (John 17:21, also Jn 17:25)
"I am the Father of the universe, and even the source of the Father" (BG
9:17)
"I am what is and what is not" (BG 11:37)
compare to the three Steles of Seth, "We praise thee, Existence,
Non-existence"
"Thou art the consummation of the all: thou art all" (BG 11:40)
compare to Jesus' : "I am the all, the all came fourth from me and the all
attained to me".
Brahman = Jesus' "I AM"
Jesus taught his disciples about this God, presenting himself as a living
embodiment of this reality, which is transcendent Spirit. Paul followed on
and experienced the same reality in his mysteries and even alluded to an
experience -- "the last trump" which is found in the Brhamanic literature of
yoga

Look, I'm sorry for complaining about your spam.
I just wanted to put to your attention that it is
destructive for the newsgroup.

You didn't complain about any spam from me. Very sensible
on your part, since I didn't post any. You did bicker and
argue about bickering and arguing, which doesn't make nearly so
much sense.

Arguing? I disagree, but if that's how you feel, then you
should probably stop.

I did a search on "Kater Moggin" on groups.google.com
Quite revealing.
alt.religion.gnostic isn't the only newsgroup you've polluted with
your argumentative nonsense. Your slimy trail follows all over
usenet... ahem.

complexities with ease.
No, don't bother replying, you've earned a place in the killfile.

"Anyone who withdraws into meditation on compassion can see Brahma
with his own eyes, talk to him face to face and consult him."
(Digha Nikaya 19.43)
Or, they can wait for Brahma to come talk to them, since he
periodically reincarnates and now would be such a time. Lesee,
Brahma = Manu
Manu = Anu
Anu = Mithra
Mithra = Mirotheas/Mirotheos
Mithra = Maitreya
Mithra = Abrasax/Abraxas
Abraxas = Adam Kadmon (the Kad/God-Man)
Adam = Brahma
Prestodigichango: Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon.
The First
Stele of Seth
I bless thee, Father Geradama(s), I, as thine (own) Son, Emmacha Seth,
whom thou didst beget without begetting, as a blessing of our God; for
I am thine (own) Son. And thou art my mind, O my Father. And I, I
sowed and begot; but thou hast seen the majesties. Thou hast stood
imperishable. I bless thee, Father. Bless me, Father. It is because of
thee that I exist; it is because of God that thou dost exist. Because
of thee I am with that very one. Thou art light, since thou beholdest
light. Thou hast revealed light. Thou art Mirotheas; thou art my
Mirotheos. I bless thee as God; I bless thy divinity. Great is the
good Self-begotten who stood, the God who had already stood. Thou
didst come in goodness; thou hast appeared, and thou hast revealed
goodness. I shall utter thy name, for thou art a first name. Thou art
unbegotten. Thou hast appeared in order that thou mightest reveal the
eternal ones. Thou art he who is. Therefore thou hast revealed those
who really are. Thou art he who is uttered by a voice, but by mind art
thou glorified, thou who hast dominion everywhere. Therefore the
perceptible world too knows thee because of thee and thy seed. Thou
art merciful.

Syncronicity = Song lyrics on radio right now,
"We were there, and it was good in the beginning.
Take my hand, it was good in the beginning.
Take my hand, it was good in the beginning.
Take my hand, it was good in the beginning.
Take my hand, it was good in the beginning.
Take my hand, it was good in the beginning."

What a joke. First you bicker about bickering, now you're
up to full-scale personal assaults.

Easy to understand you're making baseless personal attacks
after complaining about bickering -- and I'd guess you can
understand how you've made a fool of yourself: awfully hard to
miss.

Ah. You _do_ realize you made yourself a fool. It's nice
