In a quote from "Homage to Pythagoras," a GREAT book, in which a number
of modern scientists pay tribute, and link to, the pythagorean doctrine.),
they say: "...All form is generated from the archetypal principle of
volumation, by the five greatest génos which are exemplified by five unique,
perfectly regular geometric polyhedra. (Tetrahedron, cube, octohedron,
dodecahedron and icosohedron). [And, of course, the sphere]. To the
Pythagoreans, the nature of the whole in-forming world was
polyhedric. "Polyhedron" means a form with many faces. The world then is not
probabalistic, it is not indeterminate, it is not approximate. It is in
essence many-faceted. The undiffrentiated monadic field must be configured
as Form-Idea in order to express its being. Everything which exists has a
form. Form is the antagonist of limitlessness and makes possible both
quantity and quality. Form is the fixing of Number into realized
relationships.

I enjoyed the article. Thanks for the link, I'll be reading more.
Btw, did you ever get the 'owner name' on your 'puter changed? I just ran
across the posts discussing it and was wondering if you needed to know how.

No, I didn't on the puter. The only way to do that is to reinstall the
entire OS. It's no big deal. I'd have put "marsh" down.
Glad you like the article - lots more up there :)

Yeah, I've been reading articles on both your and Vad's site. Fascinating
stuff.
You don't have to reinstall the OS, just edit the Registry. Here's how:
To change Registered Owner of Windows 95/98/ME (not sure about NT/2000/XP
but they're probably the same).
Click the 'Start' button, click 'Run', type "regedit" (without quotes) in
the field, then click the 'OK' button.
When the Registry Editor opens, navigate the tree in the left panel to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion
In the right panel, right-click RegisteredOrganization, select "Modify",
then in the "Value Data" field, change it to what you want.
Then right-click RegisteredOwner and do the same thing.
You've just changed the 'Registered Owner' of your computer, which you can
verify by right-clicking the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop, and
selecting 'Properties'.
There are two more keys that contain the same info. You can change these
also if you like, the same way.
HKEY _CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/MS Setup (ACME)/User Info
In the right panel, right-click DefCompany, and modify as above.
Same with DefName
HKEY_USERS/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/MS Setup (ACME)/User Info
Modify DefCompany and DefName here too.
Then simply close the Registry Editor, and you're done. |

OK, I got to current version. I see nothing in the right part of the
screen that says registered organization or registered owner. I see the
HKEY listings there. There is a default on these, "default" listed on the
right hand side - but the "value" is not set in any of the defaults. In the
HKEY Current User, there is nothing called MS Setup (ACME) under the heading
Microsoft. I tried to email you, but it bounced back.

make sure CurrentVersion is highlighted, by clicking on it.
Once CurrentVersion is highlighted, the Name and Data values will appear in

including RegisteredOrganization and RegisteredOwner under the Name column.
Right-click RegisteredOwner under the Name column, select Modify, and then
type whatever you want in the corresponding Data column. Same thing with
RegisteredOrganization.
That's assuming of course, that you're using either Windows 95, 98, or ME.
In case there's a problem, or you're using NT/2000/XP, I changed the email
link so it works now.
