God's just judgement
The nations in the world have great economic problems and great
national debts. Yet, other debts are still worse. They do not debate
these debts in governments and Parliaments. In radio and television
they do not tell about these debts. They pretend as if these debts do
not exist, but the day is near when neglecting them any longer is
not possible and God's wrath hits the whole world.
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth
and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Proverbs 28:13. Though God
has promised to pardon our whole debt and forgive all our sins if
we only want to convert to him, people will not know that they have
any debt of sin. They think they can escape God's just sentence
through not care a bit about the whole lot. That is stupidest they
can do.
The same God who has settled the laws of Nature has also settled
the law of sowing and harvest. One another gets back his own deeds.
Rom. 2:6. Gal. 6:7-8. This retribution of God does work with the
same precision as the law of gravitation. Jumping it out from the
roof of a house without falling down is not possible. So it is also
impossible for a man to flee from his responsibility for his deeds.
The law of gravitation works instantly, but the law of sowing and
harvest works after a certain time, and its work cannot fail to come
off. God's word says nothing about any period of limitation.
Many think it is not so strictly how they behave, just because the
punishment does not come direct after an evil deed. They can steal,
cheat, lie and commit adultery, etc. Murderer, drug pushers and
people guilty of rape think, if they can get out of the police then
they are free. War criminals that have committed terrible deeds,
they think none can punish them.
Such a way of thinking is self-deception. They become punished
for all their deeds. What they have sowed they must harvest, and
the harvests become more than the seed. Accordingly, they get
many times over for their deeds. Isaiah 3:10-11.Those
who has caused others suffering gets suffering as retribution.
2 Thess. 1:6.
There is no espionage-organisation or any military dictatorship in
the world that has such a complete supervision system like that
God has created. The man's own subconsciousness is like a data
register where everything is stored, every deed and every word
during the whole life. When God judges the world, he does not
need hearing of witnesses or scene of crime investigation. The
books that are mentioned in Rev. 20:12 is the subconsciousness
of the men. There everything is registered. Matt. 12:36. Luke 12:1-3.
The only one who has right to go into God's "data register" and
wipe out anything from it, is Jesus Christ. If you have committed
sins that you regret and want to clear up, tell it to Jesus. He has
power to wipe out your whole register of sin. If we confess our
sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleance us
from all unrighteousness. The blood of Jesus, God's Son, purifies
us from all sin. 1 John 1:7-10.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord." Rom. 6:23. When they pardon
some criminals, it implies a milder judgement. They can change
a death sentence to imprisonment, but Jesus does never in that
way. When he pardons a sinner, it will be entirely acquittal and a
new life. 1 John 5:10-15.
Jesus has not abolished the law. He is the only one who has fulfilled
the law, and after that he took all our sin and died in our stead. Rom.
5:6. Hebr. 9:11-28. For as by one man's disobedience many were
made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made
righteous. Rom. 5:19.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by
Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
2 Cor. 5:18-21. And we do not come under the judgement.
John 5:24. Our own "good deeds" cannot take away sins. Gal. 2:16.
Only Jesus' propitiatory sacrifice can obliterate our sins and
conciliate us to God. 1 Cor. 1:18. 1 Peter 1:18-19.
Some people mean that since they are christened and confirmed in
the Church everything is good between them and God, but it is not
true. God has never promised to forgive sins in that way. The Church
is no mediator between God and us. For there is one God, and one
mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Tim. 2:5.
It is to Jesus we have to turn us to be saved. "Infant baptism" and
confirmation are only blasphemy and religious theatre.
