If It's Air Force One, It Must Be Sit and Wait

THE Clintons are far from being the first couple to commute to a home in the
suburbs, but the regular comings and goings of the president and his family in
Westchester has added a new dimension to the already busy airport here.
For the most part, the Westchester County Airport caters to companies and their
top executives. It must now accommodate the chief executive of the United
States. His visits mean heightened security, added personnel and lots of extra
equipment, from air power to firepower. And every time the president is on the
property -- whether arriving or departing -- operations on the airfield come to
a standstill.
