If only it really was The Last Church...
I am waiting for an explanation or apology from Michael, The Last
Church. A man who seems to want to be allowed to claim magical powers
and divine wisdom but refuses to offer any explanations or proofs.
Michael claims he has spiritually/psychically visited me on several
occasions and yet he also claims he has no intention of impressing me
and refuses to offer any proof.

He denies he's a prophet. He denies he's a cult leader. (That's true,
leaders need followers, even stupid cults). He denies he's trying to
impress anybody. Of course normal people call themselves churches all
the time and spell "me" with a capital letter and have messianic
websites trying to collect money with no explanation for what it is
for.

After having watched you harass a human in this fashion for several weeks,
I do appreciate your not having bastardized your version of the conversation
to a greater degree.
However, I must say, to continue with such maniacally focused harassment
of an unknown individual, regardless of the fact that you were able to goad
from him words that could easily be further misconstrued to your advantage,
would be bordering on fanaticism.
Although you have been careful with your disclaimers, if your testimony
contains so much as one single untruth, it is justifiably to be called into
question in it's entirety.
I question your statement that the "defendant" ever responded directly to
one of your posts after refusing to do so again. You assert that he can
supposedly no longer see your posts because he has blocked your name
from his newsreader, but this is not so. He can see anything you have
written which has been >quoted< by an unblocked participant.
I question whether by using my words you have also weakened your
legitimacy in publicly posting this personal attack; first to a variety of
Usenet newsgroups and then on your website as representation of
your debate with an individual other than myself.
Removing from your website those parts that were published by me will
also show that once the subject of your questionable anger had eliminated
your perpetual harassment from his view, he did not respond directly to
you again as you claim.
You have stretched your attempts to publicly disgrace this human among
not only the groups listed in the header above, but also to alt.journalism,
alt.english.usage, alt.possessive.its.has.no.apostrophe,
alt.religion.shamanism, alt.religion.apologetics,
alt.religion.christian.jesus-connect, alt.religion.thelastchurch,
and others.
You carry your antagonistic attacks so far as to respond on August 13,
to a post made by the subject of your attacks on August 4, 2004, in an
effort to prolong this overbearing and egocentric commentary.
If I may quote from your own website....
"If you want to debate in a public forum
use The Debate Unlimited Forums."
I also would ask here that you consider practicing a fond respect for
Usenet newsgroup etiquette, which suggests that posts 'off-topic' to
the group's intent are unwarranted and can be considered a violation
of one's terms of service should they become perpetual.
Since I replied to your continual <cough-cough> "challenges" in the
stead of the addressee on several occassions, I feel it only apt to
append one of my more recent replies which may serve as testimony
as to your state of fixation and hostility. After all, you found it necessary
to address me in this post as well... almost as easily as you found it
possible to remove selected portions of my 'reply' posts that you have
unscrupulously used on your website.

confrontations, I am not a 'disciple' of anything but my own senses.
The fact that you demand someone be humiliated by you says very
little about your integrity as well. You leave little room for believing
that your motives are representative of anything but self aggrandizement

Your words appear only in quotation of material you put in the public
domain by responding to a newsgroup post.
I have made very slight modifications to it, not enough to distort any
meaning, just tidying up the visual presentation. If anybody wants to
check to see if I have been unfair they can look up the original posts
themselves in Google Groups. Have you given Google Groups authority to
reproduce your words? No need to, usenet posts are public domain.
I freely admit that by publishing my posts on my website many more
people will read them than by publishing them in that backwater of
usenet.
I have not reproduced every post in the thread because that would make
the page unreadable. People can clearly see that your posts are not
there, your signature is not there, your words only appear as quoted
material.
There seems to be a big misunderstanding about what has happened with
the blessed Michael's kill file tactics. If you read his final
fulmination it seems to imply (to me at least) that Michael would be
blocking my posts from appearing on his newsgroup:

How can kill filing somebody on Michael's newsreader block that person
from appearing at all? This is evidence of technical illiteracy, some
kind of ostrich syndrome (that's a myth by the way, ostriches don't
stick their heads in the sand and think nothing can see them) or
delusions of divine powers (again).
Thank you for sending your message to my ISP, that always sounds like
a great final solution but I have been a good customer for them for
several years. I do not rely on any single source for email, webspace
or newsgroup access. If by some miracle the company wanted to refuse
my business for internet access I would be back with faster access in
less than a week, and probably back online within the hour. I will
leave it to your imagination as to what my mood might be in those
circumstances.
I would just like to remind everybody what happened:
I started a perfectly normal civilized debate in response to a post
Michael had made on his newsgroup.
