Has anyone heard ANY politician talk about privatizing Social Security
lately? That's what I thought. You could only imagine the shape
America's elderly (YOU'RE moms and dads, grandmothers and
grandfathers, etc...) would be in if our beloved republiscums would
have got their way.
Is it a bad idea? No: IF, and I repeat IF the financial industry was
completely above board and honest. Yea right. And about that swamp
land back in Florida.... And now you know WHY I was so against it.
Looks like the Dow will establish a new support in the low 8s...before
crashing through and head to 5,700. Hate to say it but I told you
so. Moreover, if we don't quit BORROWING MONEY and throwing it at the
same bunch of goddamned fucking thieves (who are, by the way, giving
themselves bonuses........for.........a job well done???) who got us
into this shit in the first place, we will really be fucked.
Remember, as the public debt goes up, so does its interest liability.
The best thing to do at this juncture is for the public to seize
control of government and New York's financial district, arrest
everyone, do a comprehensive audit and investigation and find out
exactly all parties who were responsible for this shit. After that
matter is resolved, seize all their assets and return them to their
rightful owners--the taxpayer. Any and all ties to politicians in
this matter, they should have their assets seized and executed along
with the Wall Street dogs. No jail for the pieces of shit. KILL
THEM. No sooner you slap them on the wrist, the rotten cocksuckers
will finagle their way back into the financial markets and start their
shit all over again.
The world is watching our every move in how we handle this. Make no
mistake, the outcome will have an extraordinary impact on how the
world will see us in terms of creditworthiness and just how sincere we
are in trying to fix this Yale inspired disaster.
Will America take my advice? Of course not. They will once again be
like the proverbial deer caught in headlights when they realize that
America is no more. |

RL

Not just yet. In other countries it is still widely used in
construction...plumbing, electrical, RF shielding for MRI facilities,
etc... Demand has tapered off and I think current price is about
1.68. Keep in mind the demand for copper in America for plumbing
applications in residential structures is dropping thanks to PVC,
CPVC, Poly pipe, etc... it is cheaper, easier, faster, and safer to
work with and requires far less tools and employee skills. However,
it is still used a lot in commercial and industrial applications but
not enough to create any demand issues like it has in the past when
the construction industry was booming. Moreover, copper prices were
pushed above fair market value due to unscrupulous speculators trying
to make an easy buck.
Pay close attention to Chile's leading indicators. I can't give you
an exact time table but what the rest of the world does in terms of a
recovery will spell things out pretty loud and clear. |

copper ore demand will fall as the housing market tanks..... and
roving gangs rip out the wiring, piping, and air conditioners for
scrap copper. .. in this area on new construction projects you cant
leave anything out, even AC units, next day they look like opened tin
cans, all the coils and piping ripped out......
that will satisfy world needs for years....
you will be better off investing in boom box, flashlight and diaper
mfgrs. distilleries and maybe 9mm ammunition.

Well, if America wants to make a statement in its self-defense -- they're
going to need to show the world, which looks at Americans as the dumbasses

You're going to have to march on Washington DC, storm the White House and
lynch that SOB president of yours before January.
That's a statement. |

Hence, the swamp land comment. I agree whole heartedly. How many
people understand the ins and outs of the financial markets? Even
during times of prosperity and growth? As for Chile, coups are a
wonderful house cleaning tool for taking out the garbage--provided
that it sides with the people.

You really can't exclude one from the other. Both operate as a
venomous synergy acting in the better interest of themselves rather
than our country. Cheney, Rumsfeld, AND Rove are a given. But they
are merely the tip of the iceberg. I think at the conclusion of ANY
MEANINGFUL investigation, there will be an upset to the constituents
of both parties. There was a lot of deal making and arm twisting
going down to allow this crap to get to the point to where we are
now. ...And what exactly was Greenspan, and later, Bernanke doing
when they saw loans at retail level being made below the discount rate
they themselves set? Yep, Japan has got to be smiling about now. |
