Jesus is God

Most people don't know whom Jesus is. Also many who profess that
they believe in the Bible, deny that Jesus is God. That is the same as to
degrade the Creator and say he is only a part of the creation. In Col.
1:14-19 we see that Jesus is the firstborn of every creature, for by him
all things were created. Jesus say in John 17:5, "And now, O Father,
glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with
thee before the world was."

In Hebr. 1:1-14 it is God Father himself who speaks to his Son, and
calls him God. The Father says, "Thy throne, O. God, is for ever and
ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou
hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy
God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows."

God's angels will worship him. (Verse 6). If Jesus is not God, then
it would imply that all God's angels would be guilty of idolatry
when they worship Jesus.

When Thomas said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!" then Jesus had
no objection. John 20:28. No one of God's angels would dare let
himself be addressed in this way. In Revelation 19:10, 22:8-9 we
can read, when John would worship an angel, the angel said, "See
thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and for thy brethren and
prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship
God." When the disciples worshipped Jesus, then he received their
worship, and he said nothing against that. Matt. 28:9, 17. Jesus
himself says in John 5:23, "He that honoureth not the Son honoureth
not the Father which have sent him."

Please, read John 1st chapter. "In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was
in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and
without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life;
and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness;
and the darkness comprehended it not." Verses 1-5.

Refusing of Jesus as the Creator is refusing of his divine nature.
"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the
world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received
him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, but of
God." John 1:10-13.

When we through the faith in Jesus are born again, then this is a
great wonder. From having been only created beings, we become
related to the Creator. Jesus is our Brother and his Father is our
Father.

If you will deny that Jesus is God, then you are not born anew.
Then you are only a lowly being, in comparison with those who
love Jesus. Do repent, and receive Jesus as your personal Saviour
and let him baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and you come to
rise considerably in order of precedence, and get authority to
command over the devil. 1 Peter 5:8-9. James 4:7.

While you are not born anew, you can get only a smattering of the
Bible. If you had been able to read the Bible in its original language,
Greek and Hebrew, you had yet understood very little of the Bible
because no one can come to the Father or understand God's word
except through Jesus. John 14:6. The belief in Jesus is as a key to
the Bible. If you are not willing to believe in Jesus, then you can
neither understand God's word.
