Dear Fellow Christian,
I wish to invite you to experience our Lord and Saviour in a new, engaging
and thought-provoking way.
Jesus, Son of Man - The Video. The words and deeds of Jesus as told and
recorded by those who knew him

Kahlil Gibran, the famed Lebanese Christian Poet, penned this book about
Jesus in 1928. Gibran sought to portray Jesus as He was known in His
lifetime upon the Earth. He was everything from venerated to scorned by the
people of His time. Many of the characters in the book portray one or
either side in this drama.
He is most famed for his book "The Prophet" published in 1923 which many
couples still traditionally give to each other on St. Valentine's Day.
Gibran Khalil Gibran was born on January 6, 1883, to the Maronite family of
Gibran in Bsharri, a mountainous area in Northern Lebanon.
When he was 10 years old, he fell from a cliff and injured his arm, which
remained a problem for the rest of his life. In an effort to relocate his
shoulder, his family wrapped a cross in the dressings and kept it there for
forty days and nights, in a symbolic reference to the Christ's wanderings in
the wilderness and which remained forever etched in the child's memory.
Though the book has been around for a long time, this is the first time that
it, to our knowledge, has ever been brought to life by schooled and
Christian actors in front of the camera. The power, pathos and majesty of
Gibran's prose is brought to life in an engaging and visceral experience for
the viewer. This program would be a great and unique addition to anyone's
library and to one's spiritual experience!
Just like Mel Gibson and the Presbyterian Church, the producer of this
program (and some actors) have over the last two years endured much
tribulation in bringing this to the mass public, to include threats on their
life and those of their loved ones. Please pray for us.
You are invited to watch the sample movie clips from the program on the
website! Please help make this a success! There are excellent performances
on this show, and spiritually based entertainment needs your support! Have
everyone in your group or church purchase this product! Recommend it to
friends, relatives and neighbors! Based upon the success of this project,
there are plans to turn this into a major theatrical release. The success
of projects like this, and "The Passion of the Christ", can help either turn
Hollywood's ear to the wisdom of providing more fulfilling family fare like
this, or help fund an alternative entertainment industry to the one
currently pushing violence and nihilism.
Thank you and God Bless! |
