It's not like he's king of the world. He's a skinny little old guy,
firm handshake, and from where I was sitting, no BUTT! LOL
I just don't see what you're complaining so bitterly about.... You
must have =gambled=......

I am not complaining at all.

ROTFLOL!!! That is ALL this conversation is, is you griping about how
the stupid Americans ruined the world. My father left Canada for a better
life, and he found it HERE.

No, actually you are griping about me showing interest in the US election.
If you don't like what you read, don't open my posts.

As for your dad, he hasn't seen all of his days on american soil yet.
Here is something for you to read

This is old news. Pops is doing great; got citizenship a few years ago,
retired from NASA and has a nice pension and SS, just got a 5.8% COLA.
I must confess that for someone who professes Christ, you seem more
concerned with MONEY than anyone I know. You must be a Mammonite........
Matt 6:24 ¶ "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one
and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You
cannot serve God and wealth.
Matt 6:31 "Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we
drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?'
Matt 6:32 "For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly
Father knows that you need all these things.
Matt 6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these
things will be added to you.
Matt 6:34 ¶ "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for
itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I
feel sorry for those people who are due for retirement. Time is not on
their side to wait for an upswing in the market; it will take a while to
reverse the damage. Unfortunately, canadian social security payments are
rather low, and most people contributed to a RRSP plan, to supplement
their
income.

Tough for them; they got screwed because of irresponsible US banks,
and your government was unable to prevent it.

That's not the governments job.
Unless you live in a socialist country.

It's just scary, to imagine a McCain administration in a time we live in

Tell you what!!
You get your country right & then you can tell us what we need to do!!

Sounds fair to me and I'm half-Canadian....

I have friends that are Canadian.
My posts to galia have nothing to do with my feelings for Canadians in

In fact, there is a Canadian in my family.

Pat:
Too bad you could not discuss my post but could only take shots at
Obama. REDISTRIBUTE WEALTH is a good thing because right now rich
people have an unfair advantage, Try discusing the post below where I
wrote about it. You LIE LIKE THE DEVIL saying stopping our attack on
Iraq is surrendering. If you support war you deserve spiritual death in
hell. I can prove that with Romans 1:29-32. This below was in your face
but you are not man enough to answer up, you Catholic lost person with
no clue about Christianity.

The Bush Tax Cut for the rich does no good except leave money out of the
government to pay for good things. It is not fair that wealthy people
pay a smaller percentage of their money in taxes. It also makes no
sense. Wealthy people do not need money. The poor and middle class do.
Obama will take away Bish's tax break for wealthy peole and Mccain will
keep it. Obama will also give a bigger tax break for people who need it,
the rest of the 95% of working families. Mccain will keep tax breaks for
corporations who outsource their jobs oversees. Obama will put an end to
that. Trickle down economics has not worked. The poor and middle class
need money to buy things. Making the rich get richer does not trickle
down. If 95% of us don't have the money to buy things then stores have
to lay people off and so the poor and middle class need money to buy
things which will force stores to hire more workers to sell their stuff
AND THAT is what will save the economy. Have you people no sense? Vote
for Obama. I already did,
