Judge rightly
Do not judge, that you may not be judged; for with whatever
judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure
you measure, it will be measured again to you. Matt. 7:1-2.
Of course, Jesus does not mean that we shall entirely abstain from to
judge. Many times we must judge for not to become ensnared in false
doctrines. If we have been involved in a false doctrine, then we can
take us out of it and come right through to study God's word in the
Bible, and do an estimation about what that is rightly and wrong,
truth and lie.
But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing,
but inside they are plundering wolves. Matt. 7:15. How can we beware
of us for false prophets if we do not judge them after their words? If
we do not compare their teaching with the Bible or judge them with
help of God's word, how then can we know that they are false?
Jesus exhorts us to judge. "Do not judge according to sight, but
judge righteous judgement." John 7:24. "And why do you not judge
the right even of yourselves?" Luke 12:57.
Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the
world is judged by you, are you unworthy of small judgements? Do
you not know that we shall judge angels, not to speak of this life?
1 Cor. 6:2-3.
Jesus commended Simon in Luke 7:43 for that he judged rightly.
Those who are most eager to refer to Matt. 7:12, and speak about
that we shall not judge, they themselves are hurrying to judge. They
do just this that Jesus in this bible word says that we not shall do.
They are felling unrighteousness judgements without consideration to
what God's word says. Instead of having God's word as a foundation
for estimation, they have a false doctrine, and their own opinions as
base for their judgements. They defend unbiblical church traditions
and false doctrines, and denouncing the truth.
They have no teaching about the Assembly of God and cannot explain
anything. Why? It is because they have not prayed to God about any
such knowledge. They are "skilled" and they "know" how it shall be.
They feel so pleasant in the churches' spiritual darkness so they have
no longing for knowing the truth about the Assembly of God.
They want to have a gospel without salinity. When they find a "granule
of salt", then they cease to read, or listen, and begin to "teach" and
throw questions. So it was with the Pharisees, they thought that they
knew better than Jesus. Instead for answers their questions, Jesus
gave them refusing answers, or gave them a counter question, or made
a parable. It is meaningless to discuss with such people, for they are
not interested to learn anything.
We must judge between what that is right and wrong, truth and lie,
what that is the Assembly of God and what that is a false copy of the
Assembly of God.
