the Fundamentalist types spread their personal philosophy that
" Jesus loves you, brother " and all you have to do is recite some
' sinners prayer ' or ' accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior ' and all
your problems go away, plus, you get the ' free gift ' of eternal life
as your reward for this good thing you've done.

nothing could be further from the truth.

Jesus does not love you, the unbeliever, and neither are you
brother's of the ones chosen by God to stand before Him, and live.

big accusations like this require big proof...

" Thou art not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil
dwells with Thee. The boastful shall not stand before Thine eyes;
Thou dost hate all who do iniquity. Thou dost destroy those who speak
falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit. "
Ps. 5:4-6

the goal of the Fundamentalist gospel is their control of God by man
and control of salvation by man by redefining the plain text of Holy
Scripture.. these voice what God has not said... salvation unto
eternal life is " freely bestowed " as God says in Eph. 1:6... you
don't earn it.

its not ' free ' anymore if you have to earn it, as these proclaim
is necessary before God can bestow salvation.

these preach a gospel for the smart only. if one is mentally
impared, he is passed by for salvation. if one is an aborted fetus,
he is passed by... because these do not have the element of cognizant
free will choices to fill all the condition the Fundamentalists place
of the freely bestowed salvation which God gives...

yet, these preach at least 2 different kinds of salvation... one for
the smart; one for the impared and one for babies born dead or
aborted. the latter two are automatically given eternal life, they
preach.

notice that they intermingle conditional salvation with
unconditional salvation; it is therefore virtuous to be born dead or
to be brain dead.

Fundamentalism is the practice of full devotion to the will of
Satan, agreeing with him when he says " Indeed, hath God said " ?

Meanwhile, no one ever got saved from a gospel that "God hates
you", or by an arrogant, assuming, Calvinistic faith in
election, instead of Christ's death and resurrection alone.

I agree that a lot of evangelism promotes merit based gospels,
which claims to put salvation under the control of sinners, as
if they can clinch the deal by praying, or some such.
Salvation is not a result of human "effort or will" (Romans
9), but entirely based on the sovereign choice, and grace of
God.

Even if Christ died only for the elect, you can't go around
preaching a gospel that "God hates you", because you don't
know who the elect are. The gospel is not "God hates you",
but God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that
whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.

Further, John 12:47ff. says the world Christ came to save
includes those who do not believe in Him, and who reject His
words. That's why the gospel, not He, will be the one to
judge them. This means that the world God so loved includes
the non-elect, but does not mean that all men will be saved.

We know that faith itself is a gift of God (Eph. 2:8-9), not
of works, lest any man should boast. God imparts this faith
to only to the elect, through the hearing of His word (Romans
10:17).

Nothing renders the lost, non-elect more worthy of God's
anger, hatred, and eternal damnation, than the fact they have
rejected His love, gospel, and salvation in Christ (John
12:47ff.). Oh, but of course, that means God _also_ loves
them! Yes, He is God, and can do both, even if it exceeds
Calvinistic comprehension.

This is a separate issue from the extent of Christ's
atonement.

Some do, not all. I believe it's crystal clear from Romans 9,
that God elects people before they have ever done anything
good or evil. If an elect baby dies, it goes to heaven. If a
non-elect baby dies, it goes to hell. Same with the mentally
handi-capped. God can impart saving faith to a fetus, baby,
or mentally handi-capped person, if He chooses. We may not
know whether or not God elected such people who die, so
there's no basis for concluding they must have gone to hell.

In some cases. Meanwhile, no one ever got saved from a gospel
that "God hates you", or by an arrogant, assuming, Calvinistic
faith in election, instead of Christ's death and resurrection
alone.

The gospel is not "Christ died for the elect, of whom I am
chief", but, "Christ died for sinners, of whom I am chief."

Only a gospel which admits Christ died for every man is
capable of rendering objective faith in Christ's death and
resurrection, since otherwise you'd have to first assume
you're elect, for no reason whatsoever, before you could then
know that Christ died for you.

The Bible conclusively reveals that the non-elect are guilty
of rejecting Christ as their Savior, and the gospel itself
(John 12:47ff). They will not go to hell for rejecting a lie,
so Christ came to save them, died for them, and rose.

--
Christ died for our sins, and God raised Him from the dead.
Rely on this work alone to escape hell and receive eternal
life (Jn. 3:16; 1 Cor. 15:1-3; Eph. 2:8-10; 2 Thess. 1:8-9).

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself
up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every
thought to make it obedient to Christ. †2 Corinthians 10:5
