Saint Thomas the Divine on manhood and womanhood.
What is a man? What are his attributes? It's obvious why these questions are
important but particularly so because of the gospels and what they say, for
there are some who believe that genuine Christian men are not this but merely
women.
A man is simply any male of the human species that has courage or bravery. The
basic difference between a boy and a man is that grown ups tend to have this.
You will know that you have made it to adulthood when you are brave enough to
die.
A problem for Christian men is that many view a man as someone who fights. But,
this spirit goes counter to the work of Christ, for Jesus said, "turn the other
cheek." Many feel that someone who turns the other cheek is not brave, has no
courage, is a woman. This, however, is a spurious argument promulgated by
Satan, the enemy of Christ. Do not fall for it! A man is simply a male who is
brave enough to lay his life down the way Jesus did; the how of it does not
matter. So, if you die for Christ, you will always be a real man for ever; the
rest will be faggots or mere boys. So, you see, to make it to a real Christian,
you have to be tougher than a British Royal Marine, for this type fights only.
It actually takes more strength not to fight and simply to die - inner strength
or discipline. The discipline of merely dying for your enemies will make you
holy; this is the only great prophet or prophetess. This is me, for sure, for I
have been killed.
A great fallacy is that real men are proud. This is a lie; bad men are proud,
good men are not. The truth is that some men and women are proud. A few,
however, are genuinely humble. Humility is a great asset in human beings
because it leads to godhood. The difference between the gods and mere men is
that the gods are humble. A hidden truth about life is, however, that only the
physically mighty pound-per-pound are this. It is only the mighty that die like
they are told; only the mighty that pray; only the mighty that are humble; only
the mighty that are meek, for meek did not mean weak. Only the strong are meek;
this is something only the extremely wise ever noticed. Only the mighty are in
heaven, for this is the chief attribute of God. Note the world, then. The
trouble with the world is that only the physically weak live there; these are
the ones that fight and cause seperation in the Church. The problem with the
world and the Church is that it is run by weaklings. We, the gods, do not
fight. We are the only ones humble enough to turn the other cheek. Just look at
Jesus! It is only from one of us that you can ever find true love which is
friendship. Only the strong love - beginning with Jesus Himself - we are the
only ones that will die for Him; we are the tough! We are the compassionate
ones.
What is a woman? A big lie of the devil, is that a woman is a girl that has had
sex. This is said only to encourage them to do so. The fact of the matter is,
however, that a woman is a female of the human species who absolutely will not
do this until the proper time. To be an adult is to have the discipline to say,
"no," to sex before marriage. In Israel, a woman who has sex while still living
in her father's house must be killed, so don't do this! If you have sex before
you are married, you are just a boy or a girl and not a man or a woman; this is
the truth! Stay a virgin as long as you can. Simply imagine a handsome man who
is still a virgin over the age of thirty and you will see what true beauty is
all about! Could someone like this be evil? Of course not. This could be you
too. The devil or a devil is never this image, so beware! Hold on to your
reputations.
These observations are merely an exercise in human development. This is
important because humans are potentially gods and goddesses. If Jesus really
was God, then following Him will make you these. When I look at Christ and
consider that He was the almighty, I see a real man - a real lover - and
because the greatest woman is always a follower of men, her development depends
on following the greatest of them - Jesus - also. Yes, friends, following Jesus
will make you a man or a woman, so, in other words, be holy. Enter through the
narrow gate always! Jesus was the sum total of all greatness in life: power,
might, intelligence, beauty, grace, humility and holiness. If you think you
can't be perfect, you have bought a lie. Being like Jesus merely takes humility
and courage, this is all. The discipline of remembering Him at least four times
a day and praying that He make you holy, will turn you into His image. The
value of holiness - of being an image of Christ - is that it leads to your
dreams, whatever those truly are, so always walk with Jesus. If you are scared
to be holy, you are very foolish.
Most people don't want to be holy because they think they won't ever be able to
have sex. This is a lie, however. In fact, only the holy can have sex, for the
best sex belong to holy men and women only. The proverbial bad boy or girl, are
merely ploys of the devil. If you are struggling to merely have sex, you won't
have much of it. If you are struggling to get married, however, you'll have
greater success at it and, at this, with the type of people you truly love and
admire. It just requires discipline born of either love for or fear of Jesus.
It would be better, then, to become a priest or a monk first, in life, to find
your true loves. After they come to you, then get married, if you really still
want to. "In the world, you will have trouble, but in Me, you shall have
peace," said Jesus. This is the "narrow gate" Jesus spoke of.
I see these things because I had a real relationship with Jesus. I did not
willingly consume His flesh and blood, but had real love for Him. A love that
sought to preserve and conserve his flesh and blood, not consume it. After all,
can you eat a Jew?!
In life, be holy, then, for I am holy says the God of the universe - the Holy
One of Israel!
Realize, however, that the Holy are always Jewish first, then Christian. Just
look at the Jew and his ways, and you will see the proper way to handle this
business.
