Christ showed his power to the nations
when he brought the slaves out of Egypt,
thru the desert, and into the promised land.
Jesus showed himself to the nations
when he came into the world as a child,
showed his creation power as a man,
went to the cross for us and rose again.
Christ had three things to show the world
after his ascension (John 16:7-15 KJV):
"Of sin, because they believe not on me;"
The resurrected Christ appeared to Paul,
gave him the gospel of grace by revelation,
and sent him to preach to the nations
to bring the elect to salvation by faith in Jesus.
"Of righteousness, because I go to my Father,
and ye see me no more;"
Christ showed one theologian from Scripture
that he is our entire righteousness for salvation,
and the Protestant movement began.
"Of judgment, because the prince of this world
is judged."
In the Rapture, those whose trust for salvation
is on Christ alone will be taken into heaven,
and the prince of this world will be cast out,
and the Tribulation on earth will begin.
Christ clearly showed the world
what is needed to be ready for the Rapture:
He is our entire righteousness for salvation,
and so our trust must be on him alone
and not at all on us or our efforts
so that we have eternal life.
