In October 2001, a conference, "Paths to the Heart", explored the
commonalities between Eastern Christian (Hesychia) and Islamic (Sufi)
contemplative/mystical traditions. This produced a book:

Especially recommendable are the talks by Metropolitan Kallistos Ware
and by Seyyed Hussein Nasr.

These are in .ram (RealPlayer) format. If you don't already have
RealPlayer and wish to install it to hear them, here are some
suggestions:

* Download/install RealPlayer 8, rather than the current version.

* Carefully monitor the menu boxes during installation (scrolling
through lists entirely), instructing RealPlayer not to be the default
device to play other audio/video files (e.g., .mp3 files), etc.

* Similarly, decline various offers to send you notices, updates, etc.

* Don't have RealPlayer place icons in desktop, quicklaunch bar, etc.
(unless you want them)
