enjoy eternity where such duality probably does not exist.
Yes, I know of no one who fully understands Job. But If you view Job with
the flesh of man at the center for understanding, one will never come
close to understanding it.

Well, perhaps that's my problem -- because I cannot get past
the fact that the "happy ending" of Job, the bit where all
that he had taken from him is restored, doesn't quite seem
to even things up as far as all those sons and daughters
and servants -- and animals -- who were callously killed in order
to advance the game are concerned. These are still quite dead,
and are probably inadequately comforted by the knowledge that
Job has a whole new set of sons and daughters and servants and
animals.
God's apparent indifference to that fact tends to underscore
the entire theme of the story, at least to me.

What spiritual battle? The battle to attend to what our senses,
reason, and intuition tell us rather than accept a lot of untestable,
authoritarian hogwash as *truer* than all of that seems to me to
