Don't let God's enemies fool you into refusing to go to church
on Sunday, our Lord's Day. Meeting together on Sunday is not
wrong. We should keep BOTH Saturday and Sunday.
Yes, rest on Saturday and go to church on Sunday, too. Don't let
God's enemies fool you with a TRUTH joined to "don't do it",
how they lied! That's how they lied. Just because the Roman
Government endorsed it hundreds of years later, that didn't make
it wrong. It was already right
hundreds of years before the Government backed it; and it was still right
after
the Government made it official throughout the Empire. It was
right both before and afterwards.
The Government's making it official didn't make it
wrong, and God did it. God caused the Roman Government to endorse the
Christian Religion and make it official in the Fourth Century AD.
The Christians had met together on the First Day of the week since
Christ met with
them on the First Day of the week and on the Eighth Day,
which was the First Day of the next week; after His resurrection.
1Cor.16:2, Upon the first day of the week.
Rev. 1:10, I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day.
Meeting on the First Day of the week was a Christian tradition hundreds
of years before God caused the Roman Empire Government to endorse it.
The first Christians kept the Sabbath Day rest like some of us do today.
They also rested in their homes on Saturday. Some of them went to
synagogue on Saturday too; but the Jews did not want either of the Jewish
Christians, or of the Gentile Christians in the synagogues. I keep the
Sabbath
Day rest; and I keep the Lord's Day too, which is a memorial day but not a
resting day like the Sabbath Day. There are two holy days each week; the
Lord's Day, Sunday, and the Sabbath Day, Saturday. Don't call the Lord's
Day the Christian Sabbath: it is not. There are two holy days
whether you like or not. God likes it.
I feel so honored that God gave me my great ministry, and I
thank God and His Son our Lord Jesus Christ for trusting me.
The credit is God's credit. I thank God for His angels too.
Beloved, read this again, and depart from people who love a lie
instead of loving God and God's only-begotten Son Jesus
Christ. I thank God for His Holy Spirit in me. I pray for you.
Pray also for you and me. My email address is
