a typical statement by a Pentecostal type, who thinks he's a
modern day ' apostle ' is this : " God wants to save as many people
as are willing to belong to Him. " ( an exact quote )
yet another will worshipper who insists salvation is by the will of
man... " as are willing to turn to Him. " completely contrary to Jn.
1:12,13; Acts 13:48; Luke chpt. 4 ; Ps. 3:8; Jn. 3:3; Eph. 1:3-12 et
al.
will worshippers present their gospel in such a way as to make it
sound that God's hands are tied to save since man must first be
" willing, " as one poster put it. this of course means that God is
not omnipotent. this means that Christ failed at Calvary and that
salvation is for the smart only.
since these will worshippers know not the power of God they can not
explain how at least these 4 BIble prophets were saved as fetuses...
these are Jacob, David, Jeremiah and John the Baptist, other than to
say there are 2 kinds of salvation in heaven... one of condition
filling by the will of man and one of election by the will of God
apart from condition filling... which is all of grace, just as the
Bible says in the first 2 chapters of Ephesians.
while the Word explicitly says " None seek for God " these cultics
claim to have not only sought for God but filled the pre-conditions of
a salvation which certainly does not exist... " receiving Him is...
not by the will of man " Jn.1:12,13
now these people have something to boast about. they've done a good
thing towards God by ' making a decision for Christ ' ( no such
example of anyone doing such in the entire Bible ) and now that
they've done so God owes them salvation.
these make it sound in their gospel that God enlightenes every man
so that they can come to their senses and make this ' decision for
Christ. ' this idea is not in the Bible either. besides these 4
Bible prophets mentioned as being born from above while yet fetuses,
here we have Romans chapter 9 explaining that election is based on
God's will, not man's.
and Eph. 2:8,9 explaining that man's works, such as ' making a
decision for Christ ' does not result in salvation.
the gospel of the cultics is for the smart only. only those able of
mind can ever have a chance at salvation. the mentally impared
haven't got a chance.
the god offered by these is not the God of the Bible. the god
offered can not save without man's doing something good towards Him
first. the God of the Bible and of heaven heals sin sick souls by
first giving them life ( Acts 13:48 ) and believing follows ( Acts
13:48 )
the glory for the doing goes to God. any gospel giving even some of
the glory to man, however subtle, is a gospel spawned in hell.
