... because he sought for God.
the direct cause of salvation in the world of Fundamentalism is man
making a decision for Christ... by accepting Jesus as his Lord and
Savior or some patented sinners prayer... none of which is there an
example of in the whole Bible.
what is in Scripture is that man is never saved by the will of man.
Jn. 1:12,13. why do they blaspheme against the Holy Spirit they
profess to know all about and build a gospel based on man's will ?
they've added these ideas to the Word of God along with the none
existent passage.. " whosoever will may come. "
they teach that " God loves everybody " all the while the Holy
Spirit says the exact opposite...
" You hate all workers of iniquity. " Ps. 5:5 " God is angry with
the wicked every day." Ps. 7:11b
they teach that Christ died for everybody yet everybody is certainly
not saved... which means Jesus Christ failed at Calvary...
we must look for another Savior. the Word of God teaches to the
contrary again and specifies exactly whom Christ died for...
" I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You
have given Me, for they are Yours. " Jn. 17:9
they've redefined the meaning of the word ' cosmos, world ' in Jn.
3:16 to mean ' everybody ' when it means exactly ' men out of all
tribes and nations, but not all tribes and nations as a whole. ' ...
publicly humiliating Christ again and again as they profess the social
gospel.
they've placed believing in Christ before salvation and a means to
it rather than abide by the Word of God and teach believing in Christ
as the Holy Spirit does... " and as many as had been appointed to
eternal life, believed. " Acts 13:48
( one will note that in this context of Scripture, no one is offered
an " accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior " kind of gospel simply
because that is salvation by good deeds towards God which is for the
glory of man. Acts 13:14 ff )
because their gospel is based on will worship and giving the glory
to man to decide if he'll accept Christ or not of his own free will
( there is not a verse in Scripture even remotely suggesting reprobate
mans will is free, but rather... 2 Tim. 2:26 ) they've of necessity
changed the Scriptural definitions of all the doctrines giving God the
glory for the doing...
for example : they've changed believing in Christ as man's doing,
contrary to Acts 13:48
they've changed Jn. 1:12,13 to get themselves glory for co-redeeming
themselves... making the slave greater than his Master.
they've changed Eph. 1:3-12 to mean God foresaw them choose Christ
of their own free will and therefore foreknowledge and predestination
is based once again on what man does for God.
they've changed Jn. 17:9, one of the bluntest statements in
Scripture as to who chooses whom.
they can not comment on Romans chpt. 9:11 ff simply because election
is based in God and not on the works of man... Ps. 3:8. they are at a
loss to admit God does the planning, choosing and saving since so
doing leaves out all works of man... hence all the glory goes to God,
which is not what the will worshipers redesigned the gospel for.
they've assuredly made salvation conditional though there are at
least 4 prophets recorded in the Bible whom God chose to save while
yet fetuses... namely, Jacob, David, Jeremiah, and John the Baptist.
their gospel, on the other hand, is for the smart only, leaving out
those mentally disabled, aborted at birth, born dead...
they've redefined grace from ' unmerited favor ' to
' merited favor ' since all means to salvation is based in man as the
first cause... they hope to convince the world ( excluding the elect )
that " Christ died for everyone " ( contrary to Jn. 17:9 ) and that
all one has to do is " make a decision for Christ " in order to be
saved... every doctrine has man as the master of his salvation. |
