Romans 10
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is
with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your
mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who
trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference
between Jew and Gentile the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all
who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be
saved."
God Bless You All this day

An interesting verse, the Hebrew of which has a completely different meaning
to that held by most Christians. The quote comes from Joel 2:32
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jewish Publication Society Tanakh (Jerusalam:1985)
Nevim / Joel 3:5 *[Joel 2:32 in the Christian Old Testament]
"But everyone who invokes the name of the LORD [Yahweh not the Messiah]
shall escape; for there shall be remnant on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as
the LORD [Yahweh not the Messiah]. Anyone who invokes the LORD [Yahweh not
the Messiah] will be among the survivors."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
from http://www.hareidi.org/bible/Joel2.htm#27
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of HaShem
shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those
that escape, as HaShem hath said, and among the remnant those whom HaShem
shall call.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It does NOT mention "lord / boss Messiah" but "LORD Yahweh". The two are
not the same for the New Testament states:
" Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that GOD [YAHWEH]
has MADE him [Jesus of Nazareth] both lord [BOSS] and Christ, this JESUS
whom you crucified." (Act 2:36)
