"Reflect, human being that you are, on the great dignity you enjoy, and
the degree of purity it would be right for you to exhibit, at least on
those occasions when you become a temple in your own right. Now, how
would you exhibit this purity? If you were to expel every evil thought,
if you were to deny entry of the devil's workings to the precincts of
your mind, if you continue to embellish your mind as though in the holy
sanctuary. After all, if in the Jewish Temple not every place was open
to everyone, but there were many and varied divisions - one place for
proselytes, one for those who were Jews from the beginning, one for the
priests, one for the high priest alone, and then not at all times but
once a year - consider the degree of holiness required of the one
receiving far greater symbols than the holy of holies received at that
time. It is not the Cherubim that you have, but the very Lord of the
Cherubim dwelling within, not jar of manna, or tablets of stone, or
Aaron's rod, but"

I find the above statement unintelligible

Every living person at some time or other has an evil thought

Yes indeed, humans create their religions and their gods
and they never forget to include the usual human pecking order,
just like in their armies, should any more proof be needed

Eeeerm yes - pure mythology and saccharine scribblings.
But what value does it have in this day and age !?

I thought you said you were once christian? If so you were poorly
educated in some basic teachings of the church. In scripture we are
described as the temple of the Holy Spirit. Scripture also declares
that to the non-believer some things will be beyond understanding.

You have it backwards, as scripture declares, "to whom much is given
much is required".

For those who do not believe nothing.

It was a very long time ago hf, more than fifty years.
I have traveled and learned a lot since then.

Well they would have to say that; wouldn't they ?

You have it inside out, the belief comes first
and then the scriptures to support the belief. Pointless isn't it ?

Well I only believe what can be proven

For some travel is broadening, for others it does not improve.

No.

No, the revelation comes first, belief follows.

"Well I only believe what can be proven"

Then by that exact standard you have demonstrated repeatedly your belief is
groundless.

Like wise Bob.
