Releasing of the Assembly of God
You can read in 1 Cor. 12:12-31 about the Body of Christ, and the
fellowship of the limbs. The devil interprets this in his own way.
He means that since the limbs shall have fellowship, they must be
bound together. The head cannot say to the feet, I do not need you.
Accordingly, the devil takes out the rope of a lie and tries to bind
together the head and the feet. And the fingers shall have fellowship.
Accordingly he glues together the fingers.
In that way the Body of Christ has, figuratively speaking, been
bound to hands and feet. The Christians are bound with strange
bonds that do not belong to the Assembly body. But the Christians
are so used to these bonds so that they comprehend this as something
normal. They cannot see the difference between these unnatural
bonds and the limbs' natural connection with the body.
When someone wants to leave a church, then other members ask,
"Do you think leave the assembly? Do you think leave the
fellowship?" If someone begins to cut off the bonds that the body
is bound with, then many become afraid and think that now the
body falls in pieces, and the limbs become separated from one
another. If someone washes away the devil's glue from the hands,
then they think that the fingers fall off.
To be able to live a normal life and do God's will, the limbs must
have an individual ability to move about one another. And when
the Lord sends the sharp double-egged sword, which is God's word,
then many become afraid and think he will cut into pieces the Assembly.
But he will cut off only the devil's bond so that the Assembly be
free. That is nothing that be afraid of and it is only to praise the
Lord and feel happy.
