Not quite true!

Circumcision is performed by Orthodox Christians (in a hospital
setting by professionals) not as a "religious" ritual, but in
general, as a "hygienic" practice. Having the foreskin cut away is
a preferable practice for good hygiene and sanitary conditions.

It's barbarous (and unnecessary) maiming.

Here's the real reason it was adopted as routine in America:

"A remedy for masturbation which is almost always successful in
small boys is circumcision. The operation should be performed by a
surgeon without administering an anesthetic, as the brief pain
attending the operation will have a salutary effect upon the mind,
especially if it be connected with the idea of punishment. In
females, the author has found the application of pure carbolic acid
to the clitoris an excellent means of allaying the abnormal
excitement." -- John Harvey Kellogg, M.D., "Treatment for Self-Abuse
and its Effects," Plain Fact for Old and Young. Burlington, Iowa: F.
Segner & Co. (1888).

http://www.cirp.org/pages/whycirc.html

In the Balkans, the presence or absence of circumcision was
traditionally a "bright line" indicator of whether one was a
Christian or a Moslem. ("Drop your pants and prove you are what you
claim to be.")

Keep in mind that Moslems, unlike Jews, circumcise at the age of
puberty (not infancy). If hygiene was their rationale, they would
circumcise earlier. No, this is an issue of ethnoreligious identity,
not hygiene.

You, sir, are an anti-Semite bigot. Anyone who speaks out against a
Jewish ritual is an anti-Semite. Their religon, their rituals and
their liturgies are none of your damn business, thank you very much.
If you find some practice of Jews abhorrant, I strongly suggest that
you move somewhere where there are no Jews. Iran might be to your
taste. (Whoops, forgot - they circumcise people there too. Can't win
for losing, can you?)

The most slanderous people on the face of the world are the strict
monotheists such as winter, muslims and jehovah witnesses.

"Lance S. Ferm" <lsferm@earthlink.net> spake thusly and wrote:

1 Cor 2:2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus
Christ and Him crucified.

The filthy devil Lance Ferm wants people to join with
him in rejecting Jesus Christ. He thinks his out of
context one liners somehow justify his filthy cult.

The best defense against Lance S. Ferm or any trinity scum
for that matter is simply education and information.

II Timothy 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God,
and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:
II Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works.
II Timothy 4:1 I charge [thee] therefore before God, and the Lord
Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his
appearing and his kingdom;
II Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of
season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and
doctrine.
II Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure
sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to
themselves teachers, having itching ears;
II Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away [their] ears from the
truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

It is my job as a preacher to "preach the word" and expose
popular "fables" like the doctrines of false-christian scum like
Lance Ferm.

In the Bible when sinners asked "what shall we do?" the Apostles
responded (with Peter as the spokesman) and said:

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

They were told to repent, be water baptised in Jesus name to have
their past sins remitted, and to receive the gift of the Holy
Ghost.

Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and
to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God
shall call.

Then Peter went on to say that this was the plan for "as many as
the Lord our God shall call".

Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort,
saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:
and the same day there were added [unto them] about three
thousand souls.

Then about 3000 that received the "word" were water baptised in
Jesus name to have all of their past sins remitted. Sins are
actually washed away when people are baptised using the NAME of
the Lord (His name is Jesus).

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and
wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

The other "epistles" like Romans and Ephesians are letters to
people who were already Christians telling them how to "stay
Christian". Acts 2:38 tells you how to BECOME a Christian, then
you need the other books to learn what God expects of Christians.

Unless you first become a Christian by obeying Acts 2:38, the
other epistles aren't really addressed to you and the promises
aren't for you. Deceivers and other false-christian scum like
Lance Ferm don't want you to be aware of that.

Notice how the Apostles founded the churches and what they told
people to do to become Christians.

** Jews when they received the Holy Ghost **
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began
to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

** Samaritans when they received the Holy Ghost **
Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard
that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them
Peter and John:
Acts 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that
they might receive the Holy Ghost:
Acts 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they
were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Acts 8:17 Then laid they [their] hands on them, and they received
the Holy Ghost.

** There was a clear instant sign so that the Apostles knew that
they had received the same Holy Ghost that the Apostles had *

** Gentiles when they received the Holy Ghost **
Acts 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were
astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the
Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify
God. Then answered Peter,
Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be
baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of
the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

** John the Baptist's disciples had to be RE- baptised and then
they received the same Holy Ghost **

Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost
since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as
heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Acts 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized?
And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Acts 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism
of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe
on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Acts 19:5 When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name
of the Lord Jesus.
Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy
Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Don't false-christian scum like Lance Ferm teach that people
automatically receive the Holy Ghost when they simply "believe"?

Jews, gentiles, Samaritans; all baptised in JESUS name, all spoke
in tongues when they received the Holy Ghost.

Deceiving, hardened, false-christian scum like Lance Ferm want
you to join them in the lake of fire.

I pray that God gives our brother the strength to continue to be a
witness for Him. May a hedge of protection be round about Brother
Ranjha Masih in Jesus Name.

Pakistani Christian Found Guilty of Blasphemy After Trial in Court Filled
with Islamic Religious Leaders
April 29, 2003 (Christian Solidarity Worldwide <http://www.csw.org.uk/>)
-- A Pakistani Christian from Faisalabad was sentenced to life in prison
and fined for blasphemy on April 26.
Ranjha Masih, aged 54, was fined 50,000 Pakistani rupees (£660) and
sentenced for making derogatory remarks against the Prophet Mohammed.
He is the third Christian to be convicted of blasphemy by the Additional
District and Sessions Court in Faisalabad (approx 100km west of Lahore in
northern Pakistan) in less than a year.
He was arrested on May 8 1998 while taking part in a demonstration to
commemorate the suicide (in protest against the blasphemy law) of Catholic
Bishop Dr John Joseph of Faisalabad and to show their support for his
stand.
Thousands of Christians took to the streets of Faisalabad on that day when
Bishop John Joseph was buried, and emotions ran high.
Some young Christians, distressed by the suicide of their well-respected
spiritual leader, started throwing stones at nearby vehicles and shops.
Angry Muslims responded by attacking Christian homes and businesses in the
vicinity.
When a signboard with 'There is no God but Allah and the Prophet Mohammed
is His Messenger' (the Kalima Tayyaba or proclamation of Islamic faith)
written on it, fell to the ground, Ranjha Masih was blamed for stoning and
damaging the board, and was severely beaten by a mob of Muslims.
On receiving a complaint from Muhammad Jahanzeb, the son of former mayor
of Faisalabad Malik Muhammad Ashraf on the same day, officers from the
Faisalabad Rail Bazaar Police Station arrested Ranjha Masih and registered
a case under section 295C Pakistan Penal Code (the blasphemy law) against
him.
The Christian Liberation Front (CLF), a Pakistan-based human rights group
that has been monitoring the case from the beginning, told Christian
Solidarity Worldwide that the case against Ranjha Masih was registered
without proper investigation and the police have so far failed to produce
sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation.
According to Shahbaz Bhatti, the Chairman of CLF, who was present at the
trial, Islamic militants in the area have been demanding the death penalty
for Ranjha Masih. The courtroom was packed with Islamic religious leaders
and the presiding judge appeared confused when delivering his decision.
Ranjha Masih who has been in Faisalabad Central jail since his arrest is
said to be depressed but strong in his Christian faith.
He said: "I will be happy if the sacrifice of my life could contribute to
the abolition of the blasphemy law, although I am falsely involved and
being punished for a crime that I did not commit. The prayers of my
brothers and sisters in Christ are strength for me."
CLF intends to file an appeal on behalf of Ranjha Masih within the next 30
days.
Christian Solidarity Worldwide is submitting the case of Ranjha Masih to
the attention of the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.
CSW is also raising his case with the European Parliament and the US
government.
Stuart Windsor, CSW's National Director, criticised the judgement in this
case: "The decision of the District and Sessions Court represents a grave
injustice to Ranjha Masih. Intimidation from the Islamic clerics and the
atmosphere surrounding the trial denied him any chance of a fair trial.
"Faisalabad is the stronghold of several Islamist organisations including
the banned Laskhar-e-Taiba. Pressure from these militant groups and
certain extreme clerics are keeping the blasphemy law alive. We will be
supporting the CLF in their work to set this man and others free and to
repeal the blasphemy law, which causes so much sectarian tension."

Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not
of
yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Baptismal regeneration persons are self-focused instead of abiding in
Jesus
Christ. John 15:1-5.

So why did Jesus tell His disciples to baptise, believers? Did He not
know
that they are saved by grace through faith?

As a public acknowledge of being saved by Jesus Christ. Simply put, Jesus
Christ is my Savior not my baptism.

Pleased to hear that
