A community organizer works with a minimal budget and gets stuff to
work anyhow. Saraccuda took a town with no debt at all and left it
with $20 million in debt. For a town that size! She got three
"earmarks" vile enough to show up on McCain's list of shame, but still
managed to run her town's budget into the dirt. Her small town got
more than $6,000 per resident of federal support because of her
political connections, and ended up $8,000 in the hole starting from
debtless.
A mayor has responsibilities. The biggest responsibility is to
control the money. She blew her responsibility off.
