How very interesting - after taking a dip in my hot tub, I came back
in the house to find an email from none other than Vera Six. You see,
I post through Google, not the newsreader option with my email
program. IOW, Vera intentionally posted to my personal email address,
rather than to the newsgroups.
I find it very coincidental that Jani and I bring up Vera's harassment
of Ninure Saunders to her today, and then I get a hateful email from
Vera.

CONFIDENCE in e-mail?

him privately, I evidently pissed him off, so he revealed our
discussions IN HERE, and then he lied.

me.
But I'm sorry you feel you are being attacked.

You missed the point, John. She wasn't invited to contact me by
email. AFAIC, what happens in here is fair game because it's a public
forum, contacting me by email in a negative manner is crossing the
line. And this is not the first time she's done it - she did it a few
years ago to a blind woman named Ninure Saunders. |

It may have been unintentional. I responded to a post to Carl one day
and was sure that I was posting to the newsgroup, but instead I sent
the email to his personal email. He threatened legal action (which I
found amusing and not at all threatening - Carl making threats just
isn't very scary to me) but I had erred so I apologized to him, IN the
newsgroup.
He graciously accepted the apology and we've gone on.
However, when I've had silly hateful humans send me email I simply
tell them that the second email I get from them gets posted in the
newsgroups so everyone can see and enjoy me humiliating them.
I'm kinda the antichrist that way.  |

Block her, as SL says, or else warn her that further unsolicited email will
be posted to the group and replied to in public. I had an incredibly
exasperating go-round with some nutbar last year, who INSISTED I was
emailing him (I was replying to his ng posts, *on the ng*) and would simply
NOT accept that he'd somehow set his replies to 'author' instead of 'group'.
In the end I had to block him; every time I posted to the ng I'd get an
email from him yelling STOP EMAILING ME! Quite, quite loopy.
