IRAN LAUNCHES SATELLITE CARRIER
Iranian TV aired footage which it said showed the satellite launch
Iran says it has successfully launched a rocket capable of carrying its
first domestically built satellite.
Officials said only the rocket had been fired, correcting state media
reports that the communications satellite itself had been sent into orbit.
The White House voiced concern, saying the technology could also be used
for launching weapons.
Tehran has pursued a space programme for years, despite international
concern over its nuclear plans.
In February it sent a probe into space as part of preparations for the
launch of the satellite.
Long-held ambition
Footage aired on Irinn (Islamic Republic of Iran News Network) showed
the launch of the Safir rocket in darkness.
The presenter said that the satellite launch was a trial which was
successful. State and military officials confirmed the launch had taken
place.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was at the event, said one report.
In October 2005 a Russian-made Iranian satellite named Sina-1 was put
into orbit by a Russian rocket.
Sunday's launch comes amid a long-running dispute over Iran's nuclear
activities.
White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said: "The Iranian development and
testing of rockets is troubling and raises further questions about their
intentions.
"This action and dual use possibilities for their ballistic missile
programme are inconsistent with their UN Security Council obligations."
The US and some European countries have demanded that Iran curtail
uranium enrichment - but Iran protests that its purposes are peaceful
and says it has a right to continue.
[endit]
NOTE:
Iran has the right, as does every nation, to develop it's natural
resources -- including nuclear energy and the ability to launch
satellites into space.
Signs of coming events?
What is a sequence of events?
If you recognize one event in a sequence of events, can you predict the
consequences of that event?
"When the buds turn green, know that summer is near." Jesus.
The US and Modern Rome can NOT allow Iran to become a world power.
Think about it.

You think their current crazy leader is a threat, imagine when someone
claiming to be their mahdi messiah comes along, the influence crazy
leaders have is amazing.
Influence is very powerful take Abraham, Jesus or Mohamed or a Pope or
President, those folk are very influential. The wrong combination of
leaders can change who rules the world very quickly. |

In reality, the only way a "mahdi" will come to power with the knowledge and
support of the people is if
1)He is the real thing
2)He is the satanic counterfeit (people are expecting one as well)
I mean, think about it.Some guy comes along and his charisma and possibly
prophetic ability and if doesnt have a particular pedigree, he is going to
be someones counterfeit.
A sunni will not accept a shia "messiah", etc. That works for other religions
as well. It will pretty much boil down to the real thing or the total fake,
when a large amount of people put him in power, support him there after he
gets in power, or publicly discusses how he/she is a messiah and that person
more or less gets into the discussion.
What makes you think it will be any differnce from the days of Jesus when he
performed miracles and people claimed he did it with the power of
beelzebule.? |
